What most people don’t know is that Gunderson Family Companies offers so much more than cleaning your delicate-care clothing. In addition to dry cleaning, Gunderson Family Companies offers uniform and linen rental, promotional apparel, and fire restoration services, and they needed a way to showcase their full range of services through their web presence. To overcome this challenge, they consulted with Stellar Blue Technologies on a website redesign project.

The Stellar Blue design team worked with Gunderson Family Companies on a complete website redesign that fostered a unified, yet welcoming and seamless experience for users.

While the Gunderson Family Companies homepage presents the complete range of services they offer, each subsidiary company has its own landing page with its own sub-navigation and content. This framework creates a logical experience for users to move through the site.

Site navigation was expended through the use of a drop-down menu that helps users find the service they are looking for quickly, either by solution or industry. The navigational structure was strategically designed to be simple to use, yet showcase the company’s breadth of services and highlight key B2B services that the company wanted to promote. Easy access buttons were added to the side of the site with persistent navigation to make it easy for users to access commonly requested catalogs and product information while scrolling down the page.

To make it easier for customers to reach out to Gunderson Family Companies, Stellar Blue Technologies suggested some website additions to streamline communication. The email address and phone number were added to the top of the site so users didn’t have to search for contact info. Additionally, the mobile-friendly phone number makes it easier for people on the go to contact Gunderson Family Companies. Contact forms specific to each business were added to the site, ensuring communication gets to employees more quickly so they can provide a better service experience for customers.

Multimedia video elements were added to the site to showcase some of their lesser-known services, such as embroidery and custom apparel. These multimedia elements also give customers some behind the scenes footage of the business and highlight the friendly staff and exceptional service that Gunderson Family Companies is known for.
