Out with the old and in with the new! Every time Facebook changes it’s page timeline design, page admins go into a bit of a scramble getting reacclimated with new features, varied navigation and new graphic dimensions. This latest rollout like most others in the past is gradual, so some of the changes we will discuss may have already gone into effect on your page. If not, hang tight!
Smaller Profile Picture
The new profile picture dimensions are 90×90 instead of 180×180 like we are used to. Also, the placement of the profile picture against the cover image has changed slightly as well. This gives your banner image more real estate for you to work with.
View as Page Visitor Feature
It is about time! You can now see your page exactly how your visitors see your page instead of always seeing your page in admin mode. This gives page admins much more control and insight as to what visitors see on our page.
Other changes starting to roll out include:
- More prominent Call-to-Action button
- Page tabs placement on page
- Page links to move
- Like and share buttons to move
Again, all of these changes are happening gradually and you may see one or two changes at a time, none at all or all of them right away.
