Twitter Launches Embeddable Video

On March 2nd, Twitter began allowing tweeters the ability to embed Twitter video onto their websites. With Twitter Video rolling out about a month ago, users can now capture, edit, and share videos directly from the Twitter App. Making the new video embed feature even more user friendly.

YouTube has allowed publishers to embed video for years, but now video tweets on are supporting a video market generator that publishers can copy and paste code directly to a website. The feature can be found under the “more” prompt which leads you to generate HTML code.

After uploading or finding an old video tweet of yours on Twitter clicking the “more” prompt button (shown above) will now allow you to select the embed tweet option. After selecting embed tweet, the HTML code is generated and a preview of what your video will look like on your website appears. (Shown Below)
