What Happens in Vegas, Doesn’t Stay in Vegas Part III

Stellar Blue’s Technical Director Dustin White has finished the third day of the 2014 International CES Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Dustin is giving us a glimpse of what we can look forward to in 2014.

Intel's Real Sense

Intel’s Real Sense booth showed interactive tablets. These tablets show a video that runs along with the book you are reading. When you read a page in the book you are able to see it on the tablet screen and you can interact with the characters of the book.  This was designed for educational purposes for children to be involved in what they are reading.

While at CES Dustin saw a number of vendors selling new watch phones. This watch phone from True Smart would replace your regular cell phone. The watch phone has all of the capabilities of a smart phone. The screen is significantly smaller and that makes viewing a challenge. On the plus side, consumers will no longer have to worry about where they have miss placed their cell phone!

“I have been able to see many technological advancements that focus on education. In the next couple of years we can expect to see big change in classroom settings and how children are learning. ” – Dustin White Technical Director
